Hello, the mod looks amazing, but I cannot conduct attack missions of any sort (aerial or land). The overview panel says the same thing. What tech should I research to allow attacking missions? (Playing with Former USA).

You shud be able to attack without any new tecks. i cam as FUSA you need to look carefully again.

it is fixed in the latest patch. download the newest DH beta patch from the tech support forum (after registering the game) and the new exe for that beta in the same post, and also the latest FODD instalation. then the game will be much more stable and crash free (at least for me) :D

auto supply problems

Hello. I'm playing with the Enclave currently and I seem to have a problem with supply convoys.

If i set all 3 settings to auto in the convoy screen, the AI creates a few convoys, supplyes do seem to be shiped to another province, however, it just completly depletes the supply stock on the capital, Unimask Island. I had to restart the game 2 times actually, because I didn't understand why my divisions were disbanding from loosing all their strength.

So far I've been doing it manually now, but it gets tedious at times.

This is the first time I ever used convoys, and it's the second time I play Hoi2 :p, first time was in AoD/IC, so chances are I'm missing something.

Would be great if you could set a min stock value of about 1000 supply and anything over it gets shiped to whatever region needs it.

Any help greatly appreciated ty :). And incredibly nice work on the mod team! It really is worthy of standing next to Fallout 2 and joining the family :)

I will start a test game as Enclave to check on this. You do have your IC sliders set to produce enough supplies right? There are some settings in DH regarding stockpiles. Could you post some numbers of the stockpiles? I suspect the AI is trying to reach the stockpile level in Navarro Base.

Usually I send anywhere from 1500 to 3000 supplies to Navarro when its stockpile gets to under 500. For the other 2 Islands, Unalaska and Kirska? (far away island in the pacific), I send 1000-1500 since there's only one division there.

Here are the current stockpile numbers, just after sending 5k to novarro:

Unimak - Supplies 500; E.cells 5.8k; metals 3k; rare mat 1.5k; F.cells 6K
Unalaska - Supplies 255 (1 garrison here)
Navarro - 72 E.cells; 5.1k Supplies
Yunalaska - 2.7k E.cells; 9 Supplies (empty island)
Umnak - 9 supplies (empty island)
Kiska - 198 supplies 9 (1 garrison)

Few days of simulating auto-convoy, and not much changes... except:
Unimak: 50 E.cells and 0 supplies
Kiska: 39999 E.cells and 1200 supplies

So Kiska is getting supplies, and how come i have 40k E.cells now Oo?

I've run your saved game and am finding no supply problem at all. I too used all three automatic settings and supplies are shipping as expected and troops on Unimak Island are in supply. Supplies are not even being shipped to Navarro as it has enough, as shown by hovering the mouse to get the tooltip.

When you say IC, you mean you have that installed as another mod for DH, right? Has anything else changed in your installation?

Bouth IC and FODD are standalone mods dont you any other mod with them

I installed the 1.02.b1 patch and now it seems to work! I can also see more details regarding units in recruitment, such as % done and can also increase the number of units I want directly from there(single production to serial production). I thougth all of this was removed by the mod team :))
Thanks for helps guys and to Mars6 for the clue ;). I will install Iron Cross now in a blank folder, and see if any files from it are placed outside the mods/ironcross folder so they don't conflict.

Also a few more question regarding the mod:
1. I read in the manual that there are rumours about pre-war hidden facilities on Dead Islands. I'm a bit puzzled how to take control of them however. I waited awhile until all of the far western islands got swarmed by marauders, but still the marauders would not invade dead islands after 8 more months. So I declared war on them and anexed them, not sure if I did the right thing. But now how does the event trigger? Do i need to garrison some troops there, or will the event fire automatically at some point? (if there is any event regarding the secret bases ofcourse)

2. Can I import the tech icons (qualification teams have and required qualifications for the selected research) used by DH or IC into fallout? The ones fallout use are a bit hard to recognize, especially the green outline doesn't really stand out much.

Again thanks for the help and good job on this wonderful adaptation of the Fallout universe! :)

NP for the tip ;) I can also help you with number 1 if you can read paradox code: go into \darkest hour\Mods\FODD\db\events and open Dead_Islands.txt. There are a lot of event regarding them. Just a note, while playing with the Robot Nation, I didn't get the events to fire because they end at 29.12.1950 (so you have to get every event related to them to fire before) Basicaly, you have to have certain techs researched and have troops in Yunaska Island to start the chain of events. Hope this helps ;)
