Glad to have you back. I hope we see Sword, Messenger and Keynes back soon.

I'm thinking of making a ultimate release of the trial. Some features I'm thinking:
- Releasing the entire mod so people have no more complications to get it working
- Fixing any left-over bugs
- Tinkering with the Sliders (I like Keynes' slider ideas, I want to make a hybrid of his sliders with Sword's better political matrix)
- Adding Ivo Baggins' enhanced terrain
- Adding knightofni's casualties' tracker, for later expansion once I think more about it with Sword and the others on which divisions would have which equipment, etc.

I want to play FODD baddly lately, but I want it to be PERFECT, so I need to get to work.

Is there any end-game mechanic built into the game yet? I control 1156 VP, but I can't annex the leaders of the Jihad because the Reavers have no on-map or off-map VP, and there is no way for me to reach the Enclave's VP in Honolulu.

There are tools for that? Had I know that the first time that I tinkered those files...

Last time I wrote Gaining_Control.txt, I used a phyton script with manual input to correct errors at the end. Originally, Sword used an excel macros... I think.
Not sure with Wasteland_Revolt.txt. The last version (that I saw) was probably just a amalgamation of all the provinces used, forcing a mass-rebellion from the start.

Sorry bro! I wanted to release at August but lotsa stuff happened recently - internet went down, I got sick, travel (was cool!), lost my groove, etc.

When 2.1 real not trial will be released?

I don't know, I'm waiting for Sword to come back. I'm still a apprentice, he's the master. I will try to update and add what I can in the meanwhile. I got many ideas for new features but I really need input from Sword and the others - AI player traits, the new nations pack, etc.


Also, does anyone has any idea why Novapaddy deleted his sprite-making tutorials?

I believe it was deleted during the time he had a bit of a fallout with the mods/devs some months ago.

What a weird story, gonna try and recover it through internet archives. Why he didn't put it back?

Any closer to a release?

Yes and no. Aparently, I finally solved the marauder spread pattern problems. But now I have a new problem - Game gets slower with all the marauders that pop up at the same time. I have been thinking on how to solve this, I hope to get a idea until weekend.

I want to launch at this month, max. I was planning for July release but problems.

I was trying to install the trial on the main post and I seem to have made an error somewhere, I'm sure that I just misread something but I believe I installed everything in the correct order and when I launch it it gives me the error message I included in the screenshot and when I try to ignore it the loading screen is not the one from the mod and the flags are from classic darkest hour. I was wondering if this is the way things are supposed to be or if I did something wrong, Excellent mod by the way tank you very much for making it really enjoyed it back in 1.2 but 1.3 seems to have made it harder to install.
