Sorry for disappearing, bros, but I had internet connection problems for a time. Fixed now, but I need to fix the computer's hardrive or else I will always live in paranoia of my files being randomly corrupted. Can't have that.

Also, sorry for not sending the art files, Sword, forgot it and then my pen-drive disappeared. Got a few extra stuff. BTW, was thinking of setting a google drive for them so once you stop developing we just share it with someone else.

Alberta and Ice Wastes done. Will do Guatemala and southwards next.

EDIT: Central America done. But I now have big problemo, in that in the versions where I've done the map editing, the game locks up on Jan 4th. It might be the misc file playing up again - but I only changed the number of tech teams available at once.

Got a terrain map screen?

If you're changing IC and resources, could you please collate the ammount of IC and resources per region and total? Gotta make some calculations for balance, I remember Sword wanted to lessen the ammount of concentrated resources on the map to account for all the new provinces, especially fusion cells.

Are you looking at the savedebug file? It tells you what the errors were. Go to config file in DH folder and change savedebug to 2 or 3, it will give you a more detailed error report which you can post here inside

Also, you gotta be extra careful-like with them csv files because I got lots of errors by simply a slip of keyboard erasing a single comma. Always have a backup and whatnot.

Don't have DH on this computer, but try the End Game events, Political or events of FUSA/NCR. The Mandate of Authority event is triggered by the FUSA being annexed and transfers leadership of the American Unity to the NCR. It happens often in many games, almost always a result of a DC/Junkers victory or Zombie Apocalypse getting triggered at the worst moment possible for everyone involved in the civil war. :o

Like I said, the problem of the Mandate of Authority is that end-game war events are programmed so that the alliances fight each other by the three leaders (Enclave, Polar Station Zeta, FUSA) declaring war on one another. But there was never a alternate version with NCR in place of FUSA, so if Dark Cathedral defeats FUSA, what happens is Enclave declaring war on Polar Station Zeta and vice-versa while American Unity-NCR sits neutral or enters war against the Dictatorship of Man because Caesar's Legion joins it.

Unless you're using one of my old versions (before I fixed the 1.3 units), then they should be normal. If they're strong even that way, then its a good question, I cannot opinate because I need to test moar, but they might become even more strong once Ivir Baggins finishes the terrain. From what I played with New Reno I do get the feeling they're strong because you can make ridiculoustastic ammounts of Irregulars in a small ammount of time. I think that you could theorically rush NCR in the first year with Den or New Reno using a vast slave army if you feel like it and have a big enough front, but you will probably hurt against that nifty pre-war unit they have.

Which version of the mod you installed? The E3 one or the vanilla 2.0.11 for patch 2.02?
Do you know how to use savedebug? Just go to DH config file, put savedebug to 2 or 3, then try again and once the error happens, go to the DH folder again, open the savedebug txt file and copy all that stuff here between [CODE]tags, like quotes but [CODE] instead.

I feel as if the firing mechanism for several of the events for this mod are acting up in the 1.03 version, what version are you using CzeReptile, also Sword my knowledge of events goes as far as their effects and descriptions, firing mechanism is... out of my knowledge.

Decided to give this great looking mod a go, really enjoying it thus far. A couple questions:

1) Is it intended that an event fire to give the wasteland to maruaders? This seems to make sense to allow the states to expand, but I'd like to confirm that I've installed the mod correctly.

2) Is it possible to switch the sprites for the powered scouts to the same sprite as the powered marines? If anyone can describe the structure used to dictate which sprites are used, I can do this and post the altered files. I'd also like to swap the vertibird transport sprite away from a blimp to the vertibird sprite (which is already in the mod for the vertibird bomber).

Playing through now as the Enclave. I figured out the answer to my Q1 above...still am interested in the second.

One note. It seems that rivers are not implemented in the game map for calculating combat boni? (All province connections are 'normal').

I have updated the adj-def matrix for the E3 map used in FODD. Because of the custom nature of the map, the latest release of the E3 adj-defs causes a crash to desktop. To avoid this, I created a new adj-defs file that only includes river information for Alaska, Canada and the United States. I did not include Central American rivers as they currently crash the map. I checked it out and it loads, let me know if it doesn't...also checked and confirmed that the defensive boni are being added to combat results in a test game.

I've updated the first post of this thread with the latest 2.1 trial release, the last hotfix given Slaughter and the above adj-defs.csv file given by Toryn.

Toryn, I'm assuming that this will work with the version of the E3 map that Slaughter used, right? You're not using newer versions of the E3 map and making this to be compatible with those, is that right?

I think there is a bug with the Glow military access event from Radaway. I'm the Enclave in 2252, with Radaway researched and cannot access the glow...even though my units are directly next to the Glow.

Is there a way to manually fire the event tree safely (without messing up downstream triggers?). I tried to get the "Benefits of Radaway" event to fire using the console, but even manually, it will not fire. None of the "200000XXX" series refreshing_techs events seem to fire manually though.

EDIT: This might be because the glow event triggers use province 736 in the scripts but the Glow is province 6121 in the E3 map. I think the Radaway event already fired for me in this game, but I lost military access to the Glow when the End War events fired and a bunch of different nations joined the "DOM" (potentially).

With a few new features and the ability to alter scenario files its going to make life a lot easier from now on.

Funny enough, my break is aparently in 15 June (til August), so looks like me and Sword are gonna return in full power at the same time.
Gonna get my DH copy up here, this computer is much better. HD is still shit but I will see what I can do, there's another one which is better but its full. Gonna try to keep up my production, 'cause I'm helping the Van Buren remake development team. Thinking about asking them for their cool music but I'm unsure if its better to ask now or after their game is concluded, so that people hear them for the first time in-game. Pretty sure you can. I will take a look at it, memory is a bit hazy but I know how to alter sprites.

Another minor bug:

The Dead Islands event for opening the blast doors (57003) does not trigger correctly for the "Advanced Electronics" option because the tech trigger for Advanced electronics is set to 5790 instead of 5190.

@CzeReptile: I got a similar error when loading a specific save. I loaded an earlier save and then played through the period that crashed and it fixed the problem. Another option might be a save game edit.

Just beat the Polar Station as the Enclave. It was all airpower that made the difference...basically just hitting them whenever they moved or retreated with a vertibird fleet. Might want to give them more interceptors or fighters to prevent this.
