I think characters with religions that allow it should be able to fake a conversion to another religion, like historical Jews sometimes had to do to avoid the... everything that CK characters do to other religion characters. Or keep heresy conversions secret so they don't get immediately holy warred. Maybe even with a fake piety resource to go with their real one. It'd make alternate-religion and heresy runs less utterly hellish, and add another layer of intrigue. Obviously, this would be a secret that could get revealed and/or used for blackmail.

Also I want to do a Jewrusalem run where I fake-convert to whichever of Chirstianity or Islam and cause the crusade or jihad bearing down on me to decide they've taken their wargoal (or however crusades and jihads work) and claim me as the vassal of whoever it is that they think deserves to rule me if they win. Only one fake conversion per character, of course, because twice in one lifetime would be kind of immensely suspicious.
