Hope it can pass Europa Uni in terms of popularity (and maybe eventually sales). CK2 certainly has polish, accessibility and most importantly personality on its side. Could never get into EU3 because it just felt like a much more complex game of Risk to me. IMHO no offence to EU fans on here .
This is the best paradox game i have played, and personaly one of the best games i played this year if not best. It was hard for me to get into EU3 and i did not buy and played it after they released the complete edition with all expansions wich i enjoyed a bit. But this one is different, i can get into this one easly and it so much fun. The demo was so good that i bought the game wich i not did with EU3 en sengoku.
Not at all
I like EU3, especially after DW, VicII again especialy after AHD, but have to admit that CKII is very impressive just right now, without any addons. Very well done and with very convincing - hm... I am not sure how it's called in English - let's say: mediæval touch.
I'm also very impressed, it at once brings back strong, fond memories of CK1, but adds so much more. It is the perfect balance of keeping with CK tradition and adding the perfect mechanics to make it a deeper, more complex, more beautiful game.
Awesome work guys, I'm glad I decided to preorder. Now get to work on the expansion!!! (just kidding.. but no really make an expansion)
