Rather that the US isn't that involved until late-conflict, so it's UK/Nordics vs Russia for a large portion of the campaign 
I agree totally, as I wrote on another post about multiplayer, seems very unbalanced.
Can you win the campaign? Or can you only win the missions themselves? Do future missions change dependant on whether you are winning or losing? I wouldn't imagine so if they are just canned missions with no interrelationship.
It's not dynamic, no, which is a shame I suppose. Hopefully the next NW will have some elements of that.
isnt russias strategy to control the airfields and deploy subs enmasse? their surface fleet then would act as a fleet in being and a mobile reserve
