Failed to save game for unknown reason

I am playing Roman Empire in ironman and I'm going to complete the SPQR but the game can't save.
message : "FAILED TO SAVE GAME FOR UNKNOWN REASON!!!".
I searched the internet someone says it's because running 32bit Windows but my windows is 64bit .

Anyone knows the solution to the problem ?

Did you cover the basics like the hard drive you want to save to not being broken and your windows account having write privileges to the folder? Otherwise you can always save to the cloud (there is a tab up top in the save menu).
