Out of curiosity is there a way to make the game show temperatures in fahrenheit? I noticed that debug mode shows both celcius and fahrenheit but didn't see an option in the menus for showing fahrenheit outside of debug mode. I get the general idea of what temperature it is in game in Celsius and understand the extremes but being able to see it in my native unit of measure would make it much easier for me to recognize exactly how cold or hot it's supposed to be in game.

Do you know if its achievement friendly?
I can't say, as I'm not much of an achievement hound. Fastest way to find out is probably just to look at the checksum in a no-mod game, download the Farenheit mod, reload the game, and see if the checksum changed. Appearance-only mods (as opposed to mechanics and stats) don't usually affect the checksum, so I'd guess yes.

Achievement-friendly means not altering the standard checksum (shown in-game at the bottom of the main menu, the four letters/numbers in parentheses after the version number of the game). So, before you put in the time to score a 'chieve, take a look at the checksums before and after.

The wiki has a list of standard checksums (though apparently not 1.12.9 yet).
