I have played my fair share of Vic 2 and i know my ways around the game quite well, but one thing i never get my head around.
Where do my factories buy their goods and in any specific order?

Do they all buy their raw materials from the world market according to the hierarchy of countries by score or do they first buy from my own RGOs and then turn to the world market for the stuff they lack?
Does the SOI affect the order of buying raw materials? I get that i get a bonus for production if the region a factory is built in contains RGOs producing stuff the factory use, like a steel plant will benefit greatly from being built in a region with coal and iron but does the factory get to buy their resources from these RGOs as well or do they keep the bonus but buy from world market?

Thankful for any responses on this.

A country's government, POPs, artistans, and factories will only buy goods from outside their domestic market if domestic production is insufficient to meet demand. A GP and its sphere of influence count as a single domestic market; within that market, the GP has absolute purchasing priority over their spherelings.

As far as I know, the "vertical integration" bonus does not check where the actual input goods are coming from, only that the factory is appropriately situated.

Is there a difference in price of resources depending on where you get them? Sphere or world market. As a sphere master would all yours be cheaper than buying as a sphered minor?

Each good has exactly one unit price, which is the price that everyone pays per unit for that good. (Before accounting for the import tax/subsidy labelled "tariffs", anyway.)
