Factions?

I have a simple question to the founding of new factions.

So as USA i can found my own faction, if this is correct. Japan can also found a new faction but can both "found" one toegether? I mean is it possible to be in the same faction for Japan and USA? Or not?

Only one country can be faction leader but yes USA and Japan can be in a faction together. So if they want to create a Pacific Faction for example they can (and then start recruiting other nations to join them)

Any country can create their own faction and any other country can join said faction, with the exception of Germany, Soviets & UK since they start the game already as faction leaders.

USA can only join factions that have same ideology as USA.

Note that US can't join factions led by different ideology countries (but apparently can have members of other ideologies joining their factions).
