My empire started with fanatic militarist and I immediately embraced that faction. As soon as the pacifist faction arose, I suppressed it. Yet my military faction is the second smallest faction at 31 pops while the pacifist is the largest at 207 and counting. I have built mind control lasers on all of my worlds as well as getting the tradition that reduces the distance from capital penalty. My population seems intent on becoming a peace loving people and I wish to stop this. Any suggestions?

If they are another empires pops you can enslave them then you’ll have to deal with those issues but I read slaves aren’t in factions. I believe there is a gene trait for governing ethics attraction. Try supporting the faction you want over suppressing what you don’t or do both. Also give the mind control time to subvert people.

Go to war everytime.
Seems dumb but after 20 year without war your empire gain the 'long time of peace'(or something close) modifier and the pacifist attraction greatly improve with that, so the only thing to do is declare war

It's been several hundred years since war lol. There isn't a visible modifier from what I can see.

Go to faction and check all ethics attraction(in order, egalitarian, autoritarian,...with xx%). Ex : If you're in a dictatorship, the autoritarian ethic got a modifier for this, another one : As a xenophobe, if you enslave a xeno species, you'll have xeno slave modifier that affect xenophobe attraction...
Check the pacifist ethic attraction, i'm sure you have the modifier for being in peace for a long time.
