I'm not new, but I havent been around for a while. I'm running into a few issues with my factions that I'm not sure are bugs or not, and I'm not sure if they're old or new. I'll list them and maybe someone can help me.

Totalitarian Faction
Stratified Society - The wiki says that I get +10% approval for this point if any of my pops have Stratified Economy living standards, or if any of my pops are slaves.
Well... My main species is Stratified Economy and has been since the beginning of the game, in fact this point used to be green. I'm also running slaver guilds, so 40% of my pops are forced to be slaves. From what I know I should have this point coming and going. Instead I'm receiving -20% rather than +10%

Xenoist Faction
No Species Wide Slavery - This point has been red for me since the beginning of the game, which I dont understand. I have the xenophile civic. I literally cannot enslave an entire race, that option is disabled.
The game says this point is penalized if I have an entire race enslaved, whereas the wiki says this point is penalized if I have any slaves whatsoever. Not entirely sure whats supposed to be going on here.

Thanks in advance.

Ignore the wiki. Mouseover the thing in game and read it carefully. It's possible that the xenoists are annoyed because you allow slavery at all. For the stratified society, you'll need to report what the in-game tooltip says.

From the wiki: "This article may contain outdated information that is inaccurate for the current version of the game. It was last updated for 2.1."

Bugs might be the cause of your problems.
Both robots and assimilation interact oddly with the stratified society issue for example.

Do you have slaver guilds? It makes outlawing slavery impossible which seems to be enough to trigger the xenoist faction even if no species has species wide slavery.

Thanks for the insight.
The ingame tooltip for Stratified Society reads: "Ensuring a stratified society - be it through a stratified economy, slavery, or even purging - will please the Loyal Citizenry Group."

Its a bit vague, which is what made me reach for external sources of information originally.

Code:
    demand = {
        title = "TOTALITARIAN_STRATIFICATION"
        unfulfilled_title = "TOTALITARIAN_NO_STRATIFICATION"
        desc = "TOTALITARIAN_STRATIFICATION_DESC"

        fulfilled_effect = 10
        unfulfilled_effect = -20

        potential = {
            exists = owner
        }

        trigger = {
            owner = {
                OR = {
                    NOT = {
                        any_owned_pop = {
                            NOR = {
                                has_living_standard = { type = living_standard_stratified }
                                has_living_standard = { type = living_standard_academic_privilege }
                            }
                        }
                    }
                    any_owned_pop = {
                        OR = {
                            has_citizenship_type = { type = citizenship_slavery }
                            has_citizenship_type = { type = citizenship_purge }
                            has_citizenship_type = { type = citizenship_ai_servitude }
                        }
                    }
                }
            }
        }
    }

So, I went ahead and reached for the actual lua as well, since this particular issue has begun to irk me. Looks like it didnt change from the wiki version.

For one thing I think that not including Slaver Guilds as a qualification for Stratified Society is an oversight, or design flaw. Looks like I could build a single robot and get the point, but having 40% of my civ in chains doesnt count. Thats just wrong.

Looks like I lost the Stratified Society point as soon as I nuked the living standards of my xenos.
A quick save to check this theory... 123poof... yep. I got the Stratified Society point back by switching all of my xenos out of Subsistence and into Stratified Economy.

Neato, I guess I will be making a bug report about Slaver Guilds.

Yeah I checked that too. I assumed reading the in-game text that I had to specifically enslave a race to make the xenoists mad. Looking at the code, the trigger is actually the Empire wide yes/no policy for whether slavery is allowed or not.
Like I said, I havent been around for a while, that might be common knowledge for people who are not me.

That's probably a remnant from version 2.1 and before, back when the (Fanatic) Authoritarian Ethic gave you the Caste System Citizenship type if you had slavery allowed that turned all farmers and miners into slaves and gave members of that particular species that collected virtually any other resource Full Citizenship, thus rendering it not species-wide and a-ok with Xenoists. Now that Caste Systems are gone, the only way to enslave people is if you enslave their entire species, which turns the rather general 'Slavery Policy' into something more accurately described as 'Xeno Slavery Policy', which if you set that to 'Allowed' is sure to annoy Xenophiles. So yes, looks like an oversight.

So, as recently as 2.1, you could be running Caste System which turned some pops into slaves, and Xenoists were ok with it as long as it wasnt a species-wide policy?

There is still Slaver Guilds that tries to makes 40% of each species slaves?!

I just did an authoritarian game and my Stratified Society faction is perfectly happy with my Stratified Economy. I have no slaves. I believe slavery is allowed though.

I just checked my playthrough (I have purchased some robits) and my faction is no longer happy. Outlawing AI doesn't help. I am running stratified economy, but I can't enslave anyone, because I am xenophilic.

Unclear about how to proceed.
As I said before. See the mod I linked. Install it and it will be fixed at the end of the month.

The problem is the faction has a check for has_citizenship_type = { type = citizenship_ai_servitude } but the robot servitude citizenship type is actually called citizenship_robot_servitude

you can either update the file directly or install one of the mods that fix it

I dont think the mod you linked is a very good fix, did you actually read it? It doesnt check for robots at all, and it just brute-forces the issue by setting it to approve anyone with Stratified Economy living standard for any single one of their pop species.
The vanilla file has a very specific Not{Nor{}} that requires -all- of your pops to be either Stratified Economy or Academic Privilege. IMO that was intentional design, Paradox wants your entire society to have to be stratified if you're not willing to run robots or slaves. This guy's mod you posted doesnt even check for Academic Privilege at all either. Its not so much of a fix as a preference mod.

Here's a mod however that fixes the robot issue and the slaver guild issue:

Indeed. Thanks for the info and the mod.

No I don't read through the code of all mods I use. And there is no indication in the mod description that this is the way he does it.
