Extreme slow down.

Heya, Epigoni is the only way I can play rome, however when I booted it up for the first itme in awhile, it has a MASSIVE slow down, even on full speed, I reinstalled and tried a few other mods, and they work at lightning speed, so im not sure what is causing this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

a) Version of Epigoni Mod
b) Version of EUR VV
c) Computer specs

c)not too sure on the specifics here but, 4gb ram, 1gb geforce 9500 graphics, and a duel core processors.

I have, and none of them seem to be related to my issue, but it's ok I guess, It's still playable, just makes for a slower game.

Sorry, I cant help. It is interesting how the latest Paradox games load a lot faster than good old Rome. Its underlying architecture is appears to be ageing.
