Extreme Edition offered too late?

Call me crazy, but I pre-ordered EU4 as soon as I saw it on Steam. Now the Extreme Edition is offered, which I would prefer, but I'm already locked into the regular edition.

I may be mistaken, but I did not see the Extreme Edition offered as an option to purchase right off the bat. I would think Steam would want people to preorder early, so I feel a bit bummed if the EE was offered later.

Anybody else have thoughts on this?

It was offered from the start - I've messaged Steam support trying to swap my pre-order (because I THOUGHT I'd bought the EE but would appear not to have). Unfortunately, they seem to be taking a long time getting around to me; and obviously I'll have to stick with my normal edition if they don't change it before release. Bit of a pain, but whatever.

Pretty much the same, except i got my hands on the demo and 5 hours later suddenly decided i might want to play as Granada, Morocco, etc, and now it's too late and so I won't message Steam since it'll take too long to process. I'll just have to buy the muslim crap later for a large and unfair price.

As others have said, It was there from the start, I preordered the extreme edition when EU4 popped up on Steam. It was there from the first day it was available on Steam, perhaps you over looked it?
