Considering that the DDs are always up before I'm up in the morning, yeah, they're generally released some time before.

I'm looking forward this. I'm currently "stuck" in my current game because the

have shown up and my allies aren't bothering to help me fight it. Even though my fleet is on "take point", the friendly ships aren't massing on them, and no AI empire seems to be sending fleets to fight them, so we can't fight them unless I build up a 57+k fleet all by myself. Hopefully 1.5 comes with an AI update, even though it probably won't be save-compatible.

Either way, looking forward to having a "big" DD and a livestream waiting for me when I come home from work tomorrow. I hope YouTubers like Quill18 get press copies soon, too!
