I wouldn't be surprised if upon hitting FTL, a new empire gets an identical setup to what the player starts with.

Don't forget the technology. Wiz weapons were still the same red lasers he started with, but he packed some shield + armor that is not starting material. Probably the reason he didn't suffer many losses.

It does say that, but at least on my computer I can notice a difference between Youtube and Twitch, and Youtube has a better image quality.

Yeah video resolution doesn't tell the whole story. The more important number is kb/s and how good the compression algorithm is.

EDIT :- With my eyeballs (you know, the things I actually use to look at stuff instead of letting numbers tell me how things look) I can tell no discernible difference in Twitch or Youtube when it comes to quality. I play them both at HD (Source on Twitch) and they are crystal.

1) How many planetary buildings approximately are there in the game?
2) If we demolish an older building to build a different one - do we get some of the resources back from the initial building?
3) Can bombardments of the planets damage or destroy the buildings? Can the buildings be repaired or are they completely destroyed?
4) Do buildings get destroyed during the invasions? (collateral damage?)
