Extracting sigils possible?

I created Sorcerer's blade at the Forge, hoping I would get Terratus Sigil by equipping it, but it didn't work.
Is there a way to extract a sigil from a weapon or did I waste my rings?
In that case can I buy Terratus anywhere, can't get it from EB since I solo?(And also kinda chopped her head off )

If you killed Eb it's impossible to get terratus she is the one who teaches you it. The archon of tides took all her students across the seas to other lands so you are out of luck.
