I just don't get that one....

I managed to write a few simple events.....
But then I have to add the event lines to text.csv, right?
Both an EVENTHIST, EVENTNAME and ACTIONNAME lines, that is.

What the ??!!! are the " ;;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;4858" symbols at the end of the lines? Which number am I supposed to add when I add new events? The same as the event ID?

:confused:

If the text isn't too long you can put it directly into the event. Like e.g. desc = "Put the event description here".

You don't need to change that at all. The number at the end is just a line number and can be ignored...

Hm.... It still doesn't work..... could you please have a look at this and tell me what seems wrong?

I added a file called flavor_pom.txt in the events folder. It looks like this :

#Maxime Anton écrit sa sonate pour flute#
event = {
id = 15001
random = no
country = POM
name = "EVENTNAME15001"
desc = "EVENTHIST15001"
style = 1
date = { day = 1 month = april year = 1463 }

action_a ={
name = "ACTIONNAME15001A"
command = { type = relation which = FRA value = 400 }
command = { type = stability value = 6 }
command = { type = domestic which = INNOVATIVE value = 1}
command = { type = treasury value = 50 }

}
}

(only one event, that is)

And I added these three lines into text.csv :

EVENTNAME15001;Maxime Anton;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;

EVENTHIST15001;Maxime Anton écrit sa sonate pour flute.On est vachement contents pour lui. Si, si!;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;

ACTIONNAME15001A;Hé hé;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;@;

Now, apart from chnaging the absurd content of this event :rolleyes: , is there anything else than needs adding for the event to fire? I tried a few times starting from Jan 1st, 1463, and nothing happens! :(
