I feel like a total idiot asking this, but what is the difference between regular road (left hand icon on the build menu) and expressways? Is it just the 65 speed limit posted on the signs on the Expressway? What's the regular speed limit on non-expressway roads?

Expressways are suppose to be used to connect highways to avenues and regular roads. Expressways are more flexible and always one-way roads. Expressways never have side walks. They are small segments of highways. They are transitions to/from highways.
