PUs are definitely the way to go in the HRE, though. Zero infamy, free cores (and since cores are granted upon inheritence, not after like missions, you keep all the buildings in the provinces) and until you inherit them your junior partners are 100% reliable allies.

Force PU? I always hear about that but I don't understand how. Is that supposed to be royal marriages and claiming the throne of a country in regency?
