wiki is free, but hosting an internet site isn't. Somewhere someone has to have a server running 24/7 with support, backups, spare parts and a domain registration. Typically you pay a specialized company to do the job.
I've been slightly amazed about how completely free paradoxian.org has been. No commercials, no paypal address for the annual tithe, no referenced link that you are inclined to press once a day, no apparent connection with Paradox Interactive, etc.. I guess that somewhere a slightly anonymous strategy gamer is paying the cost out of his everyday wage. If that is so, then I give my *two thumbs up* to the site owner (and if you need more, go create that pay-pal account!)

Hey, I run the backup OT forums. If you need server space/domain name or any other help let me know. I'd even be willing just to act as a mirror if you want.
I will vouch for moving it to Punkbob's server. The BackupOT is working fine, as is some other space I use.
If we can't get into the web pages though, how can we port stuff over to a new site?

Oh, I wish. I was even offering my server for whoever controls it. But it seems that the Swede in charge have not come forward yet, unfortunately. Had I been in charge, the move of the domain would have been smooth. I've moved tonnes of domains before, with almost no delay.
Tsk tsk.

Maybe he has taken on a holiday? Maybe he stopped caring? Maybe he was a fragmentation of our imagination and the wiki never actually existed? Maybe the universe's fragile tissue ripped apart and created the illusion in our dimension that the domain was expired, while in another timeline, it is perfectly run?
