2 issues with exp forces
1. Sometimes units simply disappear
2. After such a disappearance it is impossible to assign land commanders anymore
Point and case, multi player 1936 scenario played yesterday...
Italy annexed Greece and Bulgaria... It then proceeded to invade Rumania
SU and UK both send exp forces. These captured bulgaria and pieces of Greece. Italy sued for Peace with Rumania.
Rumania accepted... All Soviet and UK divs in Rumania and Bulgaria promptly vanished. SU and UK could not assign leaders anymore. Upon reloading, leaders could be assigned again but the "vanished" forces never reappered.
Later that same game. UK has sent 50 divs as exp corp to France.
When France dowed Germany these could not be made to move (they would show that they had the move order and an arrival date in target province but would never arrive there... A similar thing had happened earlier to SU forces in Rumania)..
When Germany drove around them and took Paris trigerring the Vichy event (France was AI) the 50 divs promptly disappeared.
