Hi everyone,
I know theres a lot of hate going round for expeditionary forces at the moment, and while I agree on limiting the number of expeditionary forces presented to the player, and aso agree that perhaps a method of 'asking for' forces might prove useful, I have another suggestion.
Given the whole new emphasis on command structures, chains of command, etc. is there a way that individual divisions/ships sent as expeditionary forces could be changed so that they can be added to the players corps of own units, rather than have a load of 1-division units running around?
As a brief example, at El Alamein, British XXX Corps had units from Australia, New Zealand and India, as well as British units under command. At the moment, this is impossible to recreate, since the commonwealth expeditionary divisions remain under their own leaders in 1-division corps.
Obviously, thus would mean that the information and mechanic for what used to be the control = ..... command would need to move from the stack to the unit itself.
