I sent a expeditionary force to help out nat spain after they joined the axis (got there just as their capital fell too), know the AI would just let them sit around I controled them myself. I found that while I could fight the republicans and liberate Nat spain provinces I couldn't take over republican ones. Why not?
Also, I found I couldn't march my ex force into madrid from the north or west but I could from the south or east, is this a bug?
If anyone else is trying to save Nat (or commie) spain you should take military control before they lose all thier units on the mainland. You can the take over provs with these units while your expeditionary force(s) fight. Should all the units on the mainland die you'll have to load the game as spain and transport some units from the colanies as you can't put other countries units under you control onto transports (logged bug).
