Title says it all; I can't play any of my DLCs (i.e. all the gameplay expansions, Ruler Designer and multiple music packs). They're all checked in the splash screen, Steam is online and the game starts up perfectly, but: 1066 start, no playable Republics, no playable Muslims, no Retinues.

I'm running 1.103 (WQLL). A very quick response would be appreciated...

EDIT: Odd. Playing offline (which I actually prefer) makes them playable.

When you done installing the DLCs, it will ask you to restart the game to make those DLCs take effect, I don't know if by restarting the game means I have to start a new single player game or quit into desktop and enter the game again via launcher, I did the latter tho and when I start a new game by this point , all the DLCs worked perfectly (Important point here, when you restart the game , you MUST keep logged in at in-game store otherwise the DLCs will not have effect at all, don't worry even if you leave to desktop and then back again at the game, it will keep you as logged-in)

The ingame store is only for the Gamersgate Non-Steam version. But your statement is correct for the same issue regarding GG users. Nevertheless, thanks for helping to spread the info.

@OP
Restart your computer. I'm serious. Seems to be a Registry issue for Steam users, though thats just a guess on my part. At least it helped quite a few people.
Whatever, i guess your problem is already solved, as its one day later now. ;)

My Dynasty Shields didn't have any effect until I found that way, glad I can be useful :)
edit: sorry OP, I don't realise if my solution only works for Gamersgate version until now :eek:
