Expansion nation groups

Let's see now, TFV focused on the commonwealth states: Australia, Canada, NZ, SA, Raj.

Next' one is Axis minors: Romania, Hungry, Bulgaria and (hopefully) Finland.

The one after that is most likely the Chinese warlords: KMT, CPC, JinSuiJun, XinGuiXi, DianJun,MaJiaJun, Sheng Shicai, Tibet, Manchukuo.

What comes after is anyone's guess, but here is mine:
Significant Allied minors: Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Greece, Norway (Nations that have, or theoretically could have, put up an actual fight against Germany in the war)

Despicable Neutrals: Spain, Sweden, Turkey (Nations that didn't fully participate the war , but could significantly shift the course of it if they do)

Other interesting nations: Thailand, Persia (for free updates)

Well podcat mentioned they might do regional trees so it might be something like balkans and turkey or south America. Personally I hope that the majors get reworked after the next patch. Italy in particular feels like it needs a better tree. I want to surrender to the allies and be invaded by Germany as they try to reinstate baldy.

If it is Axis focused, the Balkans indeed are the logical choice - Romania, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Greece, and Bulgaria in descending order of importance, with lots of historical territorial claims against each other.

5 countries compared to the 4 dominions and Raj in TFV, and all did join or could have joined the Axis.

I doubt Greece or Yugoslavia are included in this expansion since it has nothing to do with the Axis which is the theme of this DLC, not the balkans
So I guess it will be Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria and Finland, I would like to see Spain too because she definitely needs one

In the next expansion which is focusing in the pacific I can see the focus tree of the two China's, Manchukuo and maybe Thailand, but I higly doubt that there will be specific focus trees for the warlords or Tibet

I hope they will rework USSR's tree and rebalance it completely. Women in Aviation - THE most useless national focus in the game, which is cosmetic and provides female PORTRAITS(no additional manpower) is so bad that I thought it was an april joke. Diplomacy focuses that you reach when war is already ending, lack of Purge impact, STILL not fixed modern tank rush exploit. Division smap, that could be driven to absolutely absurd levels.
Godawful Mass Assault doctrine, which have nothing to do with mass assaults and not even match description given. USSR and comintern need not a rework but complete overhaul.

Yes, Ive been saying this for awhile, Italy especially but also Japan could really use a rework of their trees. They feel very lackluster now compared to the newer ones. It just bothers me New Zealand seems to have a more interesting and fleshed out tree.

Well, NZ has only 2 low-pop states so they tossed it a bone that makes it possible to be a 20+ MIC minor, while Austrralia was (not unrealistically) prevented from the big early vanilla ramp-up, as was Canada. And all with research reasons to work together for victory. The focus trees for Finland can be very straightforward. Those for the Balkans can be much more complex.
