Exiting to windows XP

Anyone have the same problem.

I am exiting to windows with no warning or error messages after a few years into the game.

This is the skandinavian version updated to 1.07
System:
Windows XP home
VIA Radeon 9100 128mb
AMD-2 1.4 Gh

Does your game chrash (a CTD) or are you merely switching between "activities", i.e. the EU game is still operational and you can ALT-TAB back to it again?
