Exiled Flag

I'm having the same trouble with the "exiled" flag as was being experienced with the retreat and union jack flags.

Can anyone help?

What paint program do you have?

I can help u fix it if u have Paint Shop Pro 7...

Unfortunately, just paint.

Oh i can help with Paint too...

Ok open the flag_exiled.bmp in paint.

Go to file.

Go to Save As...

Make sure the name still is flag_exiled.bmp.

There is a pulled down box below the name box with "Save Type As:" next to it.

Make sure the Type is set to 24-bit Bitmap.

And then click Save As button.

And Viola - should now be saved in 24-bit and work properly with the new palette.

Uh no. All the above advice will not work sadly. There IS a fix I posted, well several fixes actually and you need them all. You can get them all here or just wait for the next beta patch.

Well I dont know about the fixes to the GBR flags etc; but I do know it worked for me with the retreat/exiled flags and for the original Byz, Mos and Rya flags too.

Also that fix has shields in it which havent previously existed like Enguk and Frarev...they look like the GBR and FR2 sheilds so I assume they would be changed to those names...

EDIT: Forgot to mention that you will probably need to switch the background colour to the bright green colour that is transparent in 24-bit.

It's all working fine and dandy now.
