I am playing england. I gave up all my provinces in france without even bothering to fight one month when i refused to hand over maine, so france and i are not even rivals, and they stopped guaranteeing scotland (or maybe they do not in new update?)

However, I get excommunicated by the Castille when they are papal controller...
THEN I pass the reform making king the high authority in the state!
THEN i (STILL EXCOMUNICATED) BECOME PAPAL CONTROLLER!

Firstly... I can't figure how to UN EXCOMMUNICATE myself!

Secondly... HOW ON EARTH IS EXCOMMUNICATED RULER ALSO PAPAL CONTROLLER LOL

As far as i know you can only un-excommunicate yourself via a personal union subject since your ruler is also the ruler of your pu subject. It is a dumb thing that hasn't been fixed for a long time.

OH MY GOSH this actually solve my problem because i have personal union on ...um. Leinster XD
