is there a list of excommunicated characters?

can i revoke thier titles? or just imprison them?
will imprisoning them help with opinion problems?

one other question, i have a weak claim on the throne of england, but i cant declare war over it. i have no levies raised, the option doesnt show up in the king of englands diplo menu

There's no list of excommunicated characters sadly - just need to look for them (sometimes easier to just see who you can declare war on, as that's a valid reason to do so). From memory I think you can revoke their titles, yes. It won't help with opinion though. You can only press a weak claim when the target ruler is a child or female or during a succession crisis. If the ruler in question has an heir which is a child then you can assassinate them in order to then press the claim.

They pop up under the "righteous imprisonment" button, but not only excommunicated people appear there, the people with known plots as well.

I'm sure that you cannot freely revoke titles from those excommunicated.

you're right, but you can try to imprison them and if they revolt you should be able to, correct?
