When you're attacking someone with the excommunication cb and the excommunication is lifted during the war, do you still get reduced ae?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
The CB used to start the war remains valid (in effect) no matter what... until the war ends. -Unlike CK2 where wars can suddenly end, because the 'CB is no longer valid'. 
But it does cost dip to take bordering provinces now, which isn't the case normally with the excommunication cb
