Great preview, really makes me wanna play this game. Im very keen on your sights of the ai.
National Guard template?
Uh, could someone explain?
Are these Elite units? Or more like militia (Home Guard?)
I do hope that this gets resolved. In HoI2 Paradox didn't made Paris an urban area. They had a good reason for Paris, as during WW2 it was never really attacked and defended properly (luckily, as one of the greatest cities on earth would have been destroyed). However if they don't include Stalingrad, Moscow and Leningrad as urban areas that would be outright wrong, especially now with the much expanded and more detailed map! I do hope that they will remedy this, it's probably just altering a single line in one of the files. What I missed on the map were the Urban-areas. There are some in Western Europe and Great-Britain but they are lacking in such profound places as Leningrad, Stalingrad and Moscow. Even NYC isn't an urban area. I sure hope this will be mended before release.
No one asked yet - how is terrain handled? Is it like in HoI2 or like in EU3?

Thanks for this interesting preview
Most likely some template using militia brigades.

1 province = 1 terrain.
