... I am getting tired ... realy
rule 1: be reliable

everyone who has to be ghosted gets no edits for this session
furthermore I am inclined to add 1-2 inflation for each additional time someone is absent without making sure that a sub is available.

If that is not enough to encourage a bit more reliability to the comitment you made when signing up I may even have to search for a permanent replacement instead of a sub.

Since Wari and Eilidio don't know what is going on I will explain it...

Sorel decided that since I declared war on him that he does not want to play anymore... I helped Germany out all game, I defended you against the OE, I helped you destroy France and I have gifted you plenty of money... I get tired of the lack of mutual support and the fact that you were dragging me down and I declare war and you quit? Very poor sportsmanship sir. Germany is still huge, with a massive man power pool and plenty of money. I demand two provinces and it is suddenly the end of the world? Every nation in the game has lost wars... I lost territory and money to France in the 15th century but I did not quit...

I knew this was going to happen. I would have fought you years ago but I knew that if I did you would freak out and leave the game. Without my support you would have been an Ottoman vassal years ago. Well I don't have much else to say other then Mats and Martin, good game... Wari next time mint to pay loans and don't go bankrupt every 50 years... Elidio try and make more sessions in your next game... Sorel, next time don't waste my time.

Good night sirs... See a few of you in Wari's game and DaD2....

An unworthy end to a wobbly campaign. There were problems right from the start, but it seemed we'd managed to curve those straight. Guess I was wrong with that interpretation. Too many no-shows, too many arguments and too little interest in fun and challenging gameplay.

May you rest in peace, Evil Apple Swapping.

As a side note, it's proven that AGCEEP doesn't work for regular MP. Players need to be extremely reliable, and in this game, people have been the opposite of that...

I helped Germany out all game, I defended you against the OE, I helped you destroy France and I have gifted you plenty of money...

I am gratefull for Spain's support in the earlier sessions but I am deeply offended by the sudden, unexpected and unnessecary dow. Though you might not notice it I did a lot to bind English land forces and to die down the Ottomans. That alone is a good deal of assistance. Not a single ounce of gold was used to enrich my self but instead it was used to fight the enemys of Spain.

I get tired of the lack of mutual support and the fact that you were dragging me down

I offered money, provinces, whatever. Everything... more or less for free. What did you expect ? Would it have been enough If I would have accepted becoming a vassall of yours ? You could have asked for Venice and Milan as a friend and you know that. I let you take Parma, I mad sure that you got Genua and Savoy. To say that there was a lack of mutual support spits in the face of truth.

Germany is still huge, with a massive man power pool and plenty of money.

What is left now of Germany is still formidable sure... when compared to France. But my radius of action is nil. OE is untouchable. England as well since I lack the fleet and I would take no pride in further destroying what is left of France.

If we had a strong and reliable Russian player that might have changed things a bit but we hadn't. Neither strong nor reliable.
What possible ally could I count on then ? The English ? The French ? The Ottomans ? Or should I have taken on the world on my own ? Or better yet should I have played "Helvetia" becoming a non-factor outside of Germany.

This whole game's BoP was dependent on the Hasburg cooperation as we simply had not enough strong or reliable players to get flexible alliance.
When you can not expect a 3v1 to work without the victim getting angry.

I advised ALL of you that this is AGCEEP. You simply CAN'T play it like a normal MP game. It is neither designed nor balanced for multiplayer and tends to get awkward if the players are not carefull. Waging random wars and pursuing powerplaying leads to results like this.

It isn't the gains
I am just interested in fighting
Is simply not the way how one can play in AGCEEP and expect the game to be fun. You should perhaps change your focus to the Total War Series. I think there you will find that kind of Diplomacy.

Give me one reason why I should keep this game alive artificialy by staying and play alone AGCEEP as it is designed with a dead France , a semi-ghosted Russia an hostile Ottoman Empire, a treacherous England and a Spainish player acting on random whims.

The campaign is best left dead. No hard feelings I was just upset this morning because I did not sleep last night and I wanted to finish the session. Maybe I will see you all in another campaign. <3

Look at the brigth side, you'll now be able to attend the sequal to DaD. There will be lots of wars, backstabbing and so on, and you are free to do whatever you like within the rules ofcourse.

Sign up now before all the great nations are taken, and while you can still influence the setup.
