Everyone is crazy about grabbing Danzig

My God what a claimfest Danzig province gets. Every. Single. Game.
In my current scandinavia Game, i had hungry neighbours like Brandenburg, Pomerania, Poland, Lithuania, Bohemia all have been salivating for it

Of course it's a great province in both production, trade power and tax base and it's not in HRE which makes it very tempting.

Are there any other provinces like it in terms of how much competition they provoke?
I mean yeah, Hansa is great, but it's a tough nut to crack, even more so if you are outside of HRE.

Ragusa is a hot bed for Hungary, Venice, Ottoderps and Bosnia/Serbia (whichever survives).

It also happens to Hosokawa... every other daimyo tries to claim provinces of Hosokawa, but no other claims on other daimyos are generated for the first 10 years or so. It feels odd and will also provide the same outcome - at least for Japan. Hosokawa will die, they will be attacked at first - always.

I didn't feel like this was happening before 1.8 or at least not to this extend.

Didn't pretty much every colonial power get the "yo, go take a province in India, bro" mission that basically gave them a claim to every single coastal province in India? That was rather silly.
