i explained it a bit here
Since there are people that think that spelling errors have something to do with my experience I will try to write this a bit slower. At the first few decades of the game you can do the most I find it you can mould your country the most. Especially for countries that get the age of liberalism what will give you some events that can be very helpful later on. Remember that Militancy is not always bad you can use it in your advantage to put pressure on the upper house to get the reforms you need. Also look for what assembles your upper house. If it is appointed then it consist only of rich people. Tax the rich people more so they can't get their luxury good they want so bad while the lower and middle do get them you will see the rich people who are in the upper house do want some reforms so they also can get luxury goods. Surely I did not play every style of government but maybe some of the others can give you some more tips for other type of governments. And if you can't beat them join them. I did in one of my games to become communist. And of course not all rebellions can be stopped this is also true in reality, maybe here some other nations that historically gets rebellions but that makes the game only more fun to play![]()
