"Every Man a King" -- A LouisianAAR
"God, don't let me die. I have so much to do." -- Huey P. Long's last words.
This AAR is a bit of a fun experiment for me. I've created the nation of Louisiana consisting of four provinces (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Monroe, Alexandria), boosted the ICs of the provinces a bit, and put in place new ministers, leaders and techteams. The ministers are all real people in roles that could correspond closely with real life, with the exception of the military ministers, who I simply made up. The leaders are all made up as well, and the techteams are simply renamed versions of the US techteams. I also decided to make Huey P. Long not die from his wounds, as what would an independent Louisiana in this era be without such a nifty politician?
I'm not going for staunch realism with this AAR at all. Example: Huey P. Long had better doctors than in real life and viola, he survies. Plenty enough explaination on Huey for me.
Some basic information on Louisiana's starting setup:
Date: 1936 Campaign
Military: 1 1918 infantry division and 1 fighter wing in Baton Rogue, 2 transports in New Orleans.
Government: I'll supply some pictures of the slider settings, minister attributes , etc, for a clearer picture.
Tech setup: I'll also supply pictures to show this.
If anyone has any more questions, please ask away!
Current status: Working to debug my messy implementation of the Louisiana files, as well as waiting on a flag.
