There's a huge area of the steppes and the Middle East where just about every nation has some kind of blue/aqua as their map colour - Uzbek, Kazakh, Sibir, Nogai, Kazan, Crimea, Ak Koyunlu, Qara Koyunlu, Trebizond, Karaman, Khorasan, Bohtan, Kokkand, Iraq, Syria, Imereti, Qasim, Astrakhan, and perhaps others that I've missed. With only the Golden Horde, Timurids, a few Caucasian nations and some releasables to break the monotony, some Ferrara-style diversification is surely in order.
