In the "Sigismund of Luxembourg, Albrecht of Hapsburg, Ladislaus Postumus & their succession" thread I proposed to, instead of having Strassbourg in Alsace and Tyrol in Baden, have Tyrol in Alsace and Baden in Baden. This way the mortgage of the Habsburg vorlande to Burgundy makes more sense and is more interesting. Since Strassbourg has about the least interesting event file in the game (it can get absorbed by germany) and can not revolt, little is lost when Strassbourg is removed from the game. Baden is not the most exciting of states either, but I have searched around a bit, and have come up with some events about the strife between the two branches of the ruling house of Baden. This way we gain a nation with at least some events.

Personally I don't think the cityname in a province is very important, and we could add the basic tax value of baden that represents the breisgau to alsace. But I agree that a Habsburg vorlande after france takes alsace is nice and combined with the other points I am inclined to agree with you.

Because although off course Baden would currently not revolt from what the Baden province represents. But I do not think it would be illogical that should the breisgau revolt, they would join Baden. This would increase the chance of my evenst being used :)

I myself do not have MyMap installed and have never seen it, but all you would have to do is switch all mentionings of the 373 province to whatever is the id of the baden province in MyMap.

I noticed however that the date of the "choice between baden-baden and baden durlach"-event is before the reformation, yet the event concerns protestantism, so I will have to look over those again tonight.

Also, Baden has too little monarch id's for my monarchfile, so something should be done about that

They have a leader file? I'll check it.

Also, about the conversion for mymap, currently the idea is that Baden is a tax 7 mp4 province and that the part the player controls in the beginning and after the second division is tax4 mp2. I do not know wheter these numbers are okay for the smaller mymap provinces. If not, tell me what size a united baden should be and I'll alter the events.
