let's say that you get a message box "(eg) country x has declared war on country y", and you want to change the message settings for the box (let's say make it appear only in the message log)
Okay. but at the exact same time you right-click the message, one of those random events appears (might be scripted events too).
When you hover your mouse over the options for the random event, you won't be able to see the consequences of your actions. You also cannot close the first message box either. So you have to deal with the random event (without knowing whether you are taking a stab hit, or getting a revolt, etc.) before you can select the message settings.
The big bug is in not being able to see the consequences of your actions in the random event box. This happens when you right-click a message box at the exact same time a random event appears.
