The game has been moving towards more transparency for a while now (I'm thinking mainly of disasters, looting--and I think it's a good thing), so why not have an in-game event and decision encyclopedia, showing triggers, effects, descriptions, etc.? Considering how events and decisions are scripted, it would always be up-to-date (vs the wiki) and mod-friendly.
It might enable a certain type of perfectionist player to be more neurotic about non-Ironman play, but you can only blindside or pleasantly surprise the other kind of player once. The information already exists in the text files and the wiki for perusal, and having a handy reference as an in-game window in human language instead of something to alt-tab to and in script-talk would be great.
