I was just playing as France when I got a regency council, random event drops my clergy loyalty below 50%, and they start a coup against my underage heir.
This event is super rng and has no player agency whatsoever. I pay 1,4k ducats when I'm making +12 a month and still the coup succeeds. I lose 25% crownland and there's nothing I can do against this, setting me back literally decades before I can integrate my appanages.
Please Paradox, don't make arbitrary, non-interactive event chains that just steal 25% of crownland 'just because'. It's super annoying/frustrating gameplay when there's nothing I can do to counter it except having better rng.
