I've no idea if this is the right place to post about this in, but I can't find any EUIV sub-forums so this will have to do.
Crusader Kings II, Victoria II and possibly MoTE and Sengoku (I'm fairly certain) had event pausing, where when an event - note: not a popup - fired, the game would automatically pause and could not be unpaused until a selection was made preventing the player from savescumming to skip the event.
Now I'm not going to search through almost 50 developer diaries to find a reference, but I'm certain that I remember reading about how this would be implemented in EUIV.
I know the demo is most likely based on a several months old build of the game, but it just struck me as odd as to how it was left out in EUIV despite being included in several previous titles.
Just thought I'd point it out with a hope it would be introduced in EUIV by release day or perhaps in a patch later on.
