Could it be possible to change the max dig-in bonus in-game, via tech or maybe event ?

It could be a great help when trying to show the importance of trench warfare during ww1. We could have a max dig in of 50 or 60 during ww1, and maybe the normal 30 during ww2. That would show how fighting techniques and weapons have evolved to better face the problem of field fortification.

On its own, that won't be enough to fix the problem of "ww1 over by 1915", but it'd certainly help.

Thoughts ?

Copy the DH Full file (or just the stuff needed for the 1914 scenario) into its own Mod folder, and then change the dig-in cap in the misc file in the new mod folder. It obviously won't work if you're trying to do an AAR type thing.

I'm assuming that the dug-in value is hardcoded, I can't see how this modifier isn't moddable already with the 1.03 update to reflect the more in-depth land doctrines. If I'm wrong, and I hope I am on this case, can we get confirmation with an example of how to modify?

Yeah, that's enough to experiment, but well, it would be nice to have something integrated into the game.

You can mod the dig in values (max and daily) from misc.txt [since 1.03]. But it would be great to be able to to it via events / techs.
