By anychance is there(and do you know it) a "cheat" to put in the console window to allow increases in intelligence funding over and over. Like "freedom" for diplomatic sliders but for the funding instead/awell? Also in the saves where is this level recorded? Do you know what the variable is and where? I hunted everywhere for it and I couldn't see it.
There is no such option. The automated Intelligence (actually ALL of the Intelligence) were added after the console commands were included in the code. The actual reason for the 'codes' isn't as cheats but as aids for the coders. Martin (the only coder for DH and IIRC beta 1.3 which added the automated Intelligence), doesn't believe in console commands, so didn't add any new ones.
Oh damn, but yeah I know that about the commands thanks, what about in the save? the level must be put in the save somewhere?
I lost track...are you asking about changing how often you can "increase intelligence funding" or just changing the level in your save.
There might be a setting in the misc.txt file to change the frequency but that will affect everyone, not just you.
You can also change the level in your save, but I can't remember off the top of my head where to change it. I think it is the NumberOfSpies line (in the SpyPrefs section) but am not 100% sure.
It seems to work, it's just temperamental with the 1918 mod, in 1936 and Kaissereich I haven't seen any problems in my games.
Your nation needs to have the ability to build IC before it'll work, many nations have to research it at the start for some reason.
I'm kind of hoping this will turn into the similar thread on Vicky II that had around 29 pages of users submitting their own, which is why I'm bumping this again.
britians ic sucks on 1936 on this game and that create public works option doesn't come available to me even thought its there .
