You must have known the question was coming... One thing I love to do is to take a small country and bring it up on par with the larger ones, i.e. taking Greece's IC up to 60.

More or less, I'm curious to see what they are compared to the standard HoI II ones.

I think they removed most of them from the game since they were boring and mostly used to cheat. At Least I saw a post saying something simular.

No one forces anyone to cheat or 'cheat' I found them invaluable in setting up situations such as USA joins Germany, Soviets join the war early, or massed nuclear war. acceptall is great in setting up post-war alliances, and swapping territory and role playing in general.


"freedom" is in the game i've used it a lot. I had a post WW1 network of alliances between Italy, Germany, Russia, and France against the Balkans, UK, USA, South America, Spain, and Scandinavia. It was 1942 before i was ready enough to go to war- but the game ended T_T

As said in many other threads, all of the console commands (cheats) still work. What doesn't work are the random events, these have been, for the most part, removed.

they are all still in the mods/Darkest hour light/ folder you can copy them over to the darkest hour full folder and just activate the file in the events.txt ;)

As to not fudge with the ones in the Full version, could you just rename it to something like "events2.txt", or would they not work in that manner?

The events you are looking for are mostly in the Darkest Hour\db\events\randomevents.txt file, you can copy this to the Darkest Hour\Mods\Darkest Hour Full\db\events\folder.
To activate them you have to edit, Darkest Hour\Mods\Darkest Hour Full\db\events.txt or 1914_events.txt, and add the line event = "db\events\randomevents.txt"

Some event commands have been changed/expanded so the old events posted on the wiki might not all work like they did in regular HOI2.

It should be possible to make events that add IC to a random province, take a look in the modding documentation folder for guides.

I am a VERY novice programmer, I barely passed VB in college, but Notepad ++ saved my rear.

Ok, after going through some of the HoI:II ARMA wiki cheat random events file, I've spliced them into a Cheats.txt.

I've quickly tested it as Greece in the 1914 campaign and everything seems fine so far, but its still use at your own risk!

I've put the cheats file into a txt file with instructions, 99% credit goes to Henrik Fåhraeus who originally coded these cheats up. I modified some of the text though for a little light humor.

I hope these help you guys test the game out and steamroll as Ireland or Mexico!!

Enjoy and yell at me if errors occur! But don't count on me, I'm not a great programmer!

EDIT1: Silly me, small error borked the cheats. Should be fixed now.

EDIT2: For some reason unknown to me, cheat 80100 that should be boosting base IC is very temperamental. Sometimes it works, sometimes it won't.
Cheat 505000 - Doesn't seem to work on Light Cruisers or Militia right now, I'll try to fix that.

EDIT3: Naval production time should be lowered now with 80104.

EDIT4: Seems some attachments to some units don't get counted on the 505000/80104 cheats for production time cuts. Artillery and most naval attachments will need time. But its still faster than normal since its only the attachment time itself will count to the ship build. I need to find the modifiers.

I've added some more cheats that should make the unit build times faster, and with land brigades. I need to try and get naval brigades, can someone tell me where to find their names so I can try to make it cheaper/quicker with production boost cheat?

Also, would anyone know why the 80100 cheat is so strange? It should add more base IC to random provinces in your control. It works perfectly for Greece in my games, but rarely for Germany.

EDIT: To make Light Cruisers build in 1 day, use the 80104 cheat a few times with 505000, that'll do the trick.

NOTE: Pasting the cheats link into the 1914_events WILL also carry over to the 1936 scenario.

80100 also doesn't work for France in 1914, but works for Belgium in 1914 and Britain and Spain in 1936... it's very nation-specific! There must be some cause of this.
