Event Idea

A humble suggestion:

Given the experience of EU1 and 2, and HOI, open a thread for event ideas. With all three of the previous games modders have come up with great events that help fill in some of the story for many of the less well developed nations.

If there was a thread or forum for event ideas, it might make the programmers (or researchers) lives a bit easier.

There are people around who live and breath the US Civil War, or who grew up in Venezuala and are quite familier with its history. Tapping that resource could enhance the game quite a bit.

Again, it is only a humble suggestion.

99% chance of not happening on the regular forums.

Paradox uses beta tester to do this kind of work.

You should also note that Paradox most likely does not want to have huge amounts of events in the game. It would cost gazillions to translate all them.
