Event for German defeat?

But I also have a question: Is there an event for defeating the third reich?
I played as the USSR and attacked Germany during Fall Gelb. After a while, the red army marched through Berlin. But there was no event. Instead, the Germans defeated the French, so I had to conquer more. But even after arriving in Paris, nothing happened.
The war ended after I annexed them (Hitler's assassination triggered in Bordeaux).
I also looked it up in the event folder, but I didn't see anything
Is there an event?
Or didn't it trigger, because I wasn't at war with Romania?

No, there is not one, but it's on purpose. You are now free to liberate your European Soviet puppets.

The liberation system is great. I just finished my first game as SU and was surprised to see all the custom flags and nation names popping up all over the place. Very cool and worth the hassle of having to do it manually. Racing against the US to liberate certain nations was quite a lot of fun.
