Im playing the 1936 scenario as Germany. Is there an event for fall gelb? Its may 1st and no event popped up yet.

Even for DoW against Belgium and Netherlands? Does DD have an event for fall gelb? I coulda swore there was one

Theres a british surrender event, but it requires more than the home islands to trigger. In fact, if you get the event then you should deny since at that moment you are so close to annexation that it doesn´t really matter.landser1939 said:
A yugoslavia war will trigger once the historical circumstances are met. Eg, first yugoslavia must join the pact of steel, then 2 events will trigger that will most likely cause it to break said alliance. The german response event will result in war coming within a few days.
pact of steel never came up. neither did barbarossa (if there is one) its oct 1941 and no one is doin anything im bored lol. i wish this game wouldnt be random all the time sometimes i get the event sometimes i dont
There is no event for Barbarossa. I have never seen the Pact of Steel event but I don't wait around for it. Once Sept. 1 1939 hits the only event driven DOW's you will get are Denmark and Norway. Everything else is up to you.
I never mentioned that, and I did that for a reason. yugoslavia must join the pact of steel the regular way. Eg, germany must ask nicely and have good enough relations. No event for barbarossa either. Just declare war.landser1939 said:

IF YOU WANT TO MAKE THE GAME FOLLOW HISTORY you must do as hilter did - I got a book with all the event dates of WW2, by following the events the triggers happen, make sure your axis is set up at the same time as the real axis - only invite Italy and Japan on the dates they joined if you invite before hand they will refuse ( see below), and after infleuncing them before hand - over months to build up a reasonable similarity point score once you have the TRIPARTIED the lesser balkans follow, few will join if you don't demonstrate at least reasonable hope of winning - destroy poland in a month, take FRance quickly DONT lag!! help spain ( and gain experience points for your bomber assets just as germany really did at grenoa ) help italy in africa launch first air raid on britain october 1940 from belgium- it might seem a waste of time as was hilter's own raid but just as the also real american 'dolitle' raid on japan , it demonstrates power, a chance of eventual victory --- above all dont lag !! move move move just like htler who went to war even though he had no heavy tanks ( if one of the big three dont join the axis will not grow italy once formed a non agression with USA because they lost early in africa and would not be budged ) , hitler had been secretly biulding up that gave him the edge ATFIRST - allow time to pass and the allies will catch up in history the red army had learnt the lessons of biltzkreig in their war with finland and were in the about face of changing there own use of armour when htler struck what if they could have completed their change -biltzkrieg aganist bilzkrieg
I know allthis might be painstaking but that is the fun ( I like playing with the same number of divisions etc that germany had - I even give rommel the same panzer division and have the same capital ship names - but introducing a slight stragegic or tactical change to see if germany could have won with better tactics, for instance at the moment as well as hitler's own tactic of snatching norway before the allies could secure her so that her uboats and surface raiders could sortie against merchant ships in the north atlantic I am trying to go further and take Iceland - in history the USA grabbed iceland to secure atlantic but what if germany could have landed first??

I have tested what if Donetz had been given the 300 uboats he said he needed to close the atlantic and not the 59 he got
what if the incopetent air chief had continued with the strategic bomber program 'euro bomber' so that goering had have enough power to reduce UK industrial complex
what if georing had continued hamstringing the RAF bases before switching to the cities
what if the panzers had struck straight at moscow and not deviated south into the ukraine and so placing a block on supplies to lenigrad ( what if they had rolled earlier in the year to avoid the -40c winter andjapan could be persauded to attack again inthe east and so denied moscow of the 40 superb serbian divisions )
what if hitler had struck straight across greece and the med to the empty middleeast and capture their oil
what if stalingrad was surrounded by crossing the volga and so deny resupply into that city - what if german transport planes had been numerous enough to properly air supply the 500 tonnes Paulus for the encirled 9th army
( from above ) the game simplifies what really happened with the forming of the axis , in reality the axis formed over time with different stages and agreements ( just like the EU now ) pact of steel ( and the another treaties ) and axis joining are different Italy became an axis partner first before japan - but japan signed a treaty nov 1 1936 while Italy signed a year later but japan did not join until after pearl habour and germany had decalred war on USA ''my enemy's enemy is my friend ''AND demonstrated to her that it would fight to protect her ( i know it was infeasible that germany in europe could actually do anything, escpecially because although her invidual surface units like the bismarck were superior they were numerically swamped by UK ( not even taking into consideration the other allies ) also watch other axis to be partners goverment members if the wrong person comes in things may change if so stage coup

There is no Event for Barbarossa AFAIK. Babarossa is simply the occurance of war between GER and RUS.landser1939 said:
