I'm using the Stony Road pack aside from that its stock HoI2, and the above event, or something right after it, is causing a CTD every time.
I've pored over event files and can't find it anywhere obvious, it must be in an obscure reference.
Not sure if its the Stony Road stuff or something else causing the trouble, but I figured if I posted it here someone would be knowledgeable.
