I was playing as the Duke of Tuscany just now and thought, "I wonder when Tuscany became a duchy". It would be quite cool for the recorded areas of land (Count through to Empire) had wiki links.

Obviously I am not suggesting that fake empires like Carpathia and made up characters like some Charlemagne starter Count in Rajastan should be given Wiki links.

And typing this in Google is hard? And find for yourself? game inspires you but I believe you have to make an effort yourself to find the answer.

Then why did they put some Wiki links to begin with? Just do it properly or don't do it at all, but since there are already some links, it's legitimate to ask for more.

I disagree with Shally and stand by the suggestion. As DeathBurst says, do it or remove it entirely. I am fully aware of how to search on Google. Providing the Wiki button, but barely using it feels lazy and like an unfinished feature.

The irony of your suggestion is that Tuscany is a "fake" duchy. It wasn't a duchy during the game's time frame (so to answer your question "when Tuscany became a duchy?" - not until the 16th century).

Most of the duchies in the game did not exist in real life. Many duchies never existed as official territories, but are in the game for game reasons. Sometimes the titles in the game are the conglomeration of multiple titles (especially with duchies in the HRE or eastwards) or are actually counties that have been "upgraded" for balance (Barcelona is a good example).

It wouldn't make sense to have wikipedia links for the game's titles because they're almost all game abstractions, not real, historical things.
